Total Racing Products V10 Intercooler Pump Harness (Frunk Location) – R8/Huracan
This harness is intended to power a Pierburg CWA400 water pump that is mounted in a V10’s front trunk (frunk). This harness is intended to get its switched power source from the 12V wire leading to the cigarette lighter plug in the frunk. Out of the box, the harness is setup to be speed controlled with a PWM signal. The PWM signal wire provided is long enough to be routed through your V10’s interior and to the farthest ECU’s half-bridge output. If you would prefer to not have speed control or you are using a stock ECU that has no speed control abilities, you can connect the signal wire to the switched power wire to run the pump at high speed.
If you are using one of TRP’s High Flow Ice Tanks that utilize two pumps, you will need to purchase one of these harnesses for each pump and combine the PWM signal wires so that both pumps are operating at the same speed.
Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!
