Total Racing Products Syvecs GPS IMU Module Plug and Play Harness For MoTeC – R8/Huracan
The Syvecs GPS module is a great way to get fast and accurate data to your MoTeC-equipped V10 for the purpose of increasing the efficiency of traction control with paramaters such as position, speed, time, and more. Unfortunately, Syvecs ships their modules with an empty connector, connector seals/locks, terminals, and a rather lacking installation guide.
Our plug and play harness eliminates the need for anything that comes with your Module besides the actual hardware itself. Just plug our harness directly into your Syvecs GPS IMU Module and connect/pin in the wires at the opposite end.
The red wire needs to be connected to any switched 12V power source. The black wire needs to be grounded. The blue (CAN Hi) and white (CAN Lo) wires are already terminated with pins compatible with your MoTeC’s connector. While all projects can be slightly different, we labeled the wires for your convenience indicating the pins that we often use when utilizing this product, with the blue wire going into D17 and the white wire going into D18 of your MoTeC’s connector.
Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!
